FAQ — Forgotten Spells
What are proxies? Proxies are custom-made cards intended for casual and playtest use. They are not official Magic: The Gathering cards and are not legal in sanctioned tournament play.
Are your proxies handmade? Yes! Every card from Forgotten Spells is handcrafted with care. You're not getting a mass-produced product — each order is made by us.
What format are the cards printed in? Our cards are standard MTG card size and designed to sleeve up and play just like normal cards.
Can I use these in tournaments? No. Our proxies are strictly for casual play, Commander nights, playtesting, and personal collection purposes.
How long does shipping take? We ship fast! Most orders go out within 1–3 business days. Delivery time depends on your location after that.
Do you ship internationally? No
Can I request custom cards? We love custom orders! Reach out to us before purchasing and we'll see what we can do.
What if my order arrives damaged? Contact us right away with a photo and we'll make it right.
Do you offer refunds? Because each order is handmade, we don't accept returns, but we do fix any issues on our end. Reach out and we'll sort it out.
Why "Forgotten Spells"? Some of the most powerful cards in Magic are the ones people sleep on — or can't afford. We're here to help you cast them anyway.
Shipping
How do I pack my orders? Every order is carefully packed in sleeves and toploaders to keep your cards protected, sealed in a bubble mailer so they arrive in perfect condition.
How long does it take to ship? Orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of purchase.
What shipping method do you use? We ship all domestic orders via USPS Ground Advantage, which includes tracking on every order. Delivery typically takes 3–6 business days after shipment.
Do you offer faster shipping? Yes! USPS Priority Mail is available at checkout for faster 2–3 day delivery.
How much does shipping cost? Flat rate shipping is $4 for standard Ground Advantage. Priority Mail upgrades are available at checkout. Orders over $40 ship free.
Do you ship internationally? We currently only ship within the United States.
How do I track my order? Once your order ships you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use it on the USPS website to follow your package.
What if my cards arrive damaged? We pack every order with care, but if something arrives damaged please contact us with a photo and we'll make it right.
